Financial Controller (shared services), Reading, £75 / 85,000 plus car allowance and benefits

My client is a B2C with impressive and achievable growth plans. As a result of the present incumbent being promoted internal they have recent approached us to assist them in sourcing a high calibre group financial controller for their shared service centre. Reporting to the financial director you will be responsible for :-

*Lead the company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the group of companies and to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice.
*Recommend and implement changes that will improve the company's financial performance and financial controls.
*Supervision, recruitment and motivation of a sizeable finance team.
*Liaise with external professional service suppliers (e.g. accountants, tax advisors and lawyers).
*Attend monthly sales meetings to assist in the growth of the business.

This is a role that would suit a top ten qualified ACA who relishes a challenge.
