Financial Accountant
Slough, Berkshire

Our client, a multi-national solutions provider are currently seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a contract basis until March 2009. To be considered for the role you should ideally be a part qualified/ finalist studier with a solid financial accounting background including IFRS experience. Reporting to the Commercial and Finance Director you will be responsible for:

•The financial accounts for the division
•Balance sheet reconciliations
•Intercompany accounting
•Tax and VAT control
•Monthly reporting
•Group reposting
•Payroll – liaison with overseas payroll bureau's and ensuring timely payment
•Cash reporting and forecasting
•Statutory accounting
•Other ad hoc tasks as required

Working in this high profile role the successful candidate will need strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with the overseas offices. In return for hard work and commitment you can expect to receive a competitive remuneration package.
