Associate / Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor - PQS – Reading
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a strong PQS background. The successful Associate / Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor should be able to further develop mainstream quantity surveying in the Reading area and be capable of work generation.
The successful Associate / Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor should have several years' professional practice commercial experience gained across various sectors, eg Offices, Retail, Residential, Education and Health.
Salary:
• Up to £55,000 per annum based on Commercial experience

The Company:
My client is a multi-disciplinary firm of construction and property consultants. Established around 70 years ago, they now have 5 offices throughout the UK. Market sectors they cover include Education, Government, Health, Housing, Industry, local authorities, Retail, and PFI.
The Role:
An experienced chartered quantity surveyor is required by my client to work in their offices in the Reading area.
Typical projects you will be involved in include offices, retail, residential, education, and health. Projects generally range between £5m - £25m therefore experience in working on these types of projects will be advantageous.
The successful candidate should be able to further develop mainstream quantity surveying in the Reading area and be capable of work generation.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 8 years experience as a quantity surveyor in the UK
• A PQS / Consultancy background is essential
• Construction experience is essential
• Experience working on projects in excess on £5m will be advantageous
• BSc or MRICS qualified is desirable
• Excellent client facing skills
