Client
Our client a leading Law firm based in Guildford, Surrey are set in fantastic newly re-furnished offices, due to extensive growth they are now looking to recruit a Credit Controller.


Job Purpose

To efficiently collect the firm’s outstanding fees in accordance with the detailed credit control policies and procedures for offices in the Southern Region. They currently have 1400 live debts which are collected by a national credit control team consisting of 10 people. This role is to collect a proportion of debts primarily covering London and Guildford offices

Role
• To liaise with Partners at regular meetings regarding outstanding debts and their collection
• To liaise with clients by letter and telephone regarding the collection of debts, in accordance with the firm’s policies
• Identify potential client related issues
• To compile reports for review with Credit Control Supervisor/Finance Director

You
• A confident individual who enjoys working with a variety of people and can communicate in a clear manner. Must be able to use own initiative and demonstrate the ability to work without supervision but also the experience to know when to seek assistance. Must be able to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines. A strong focus on the needs of internal and external clients is ess.
• Minimum of two years credit control experience
• Member of ICM an advantage
Benefits:
09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch, spacious air conditioned offices, salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annul, holiday 25 days leave, pension and free parking
