Lead Estimator / Area Estimator - Surrey – Up to £70,000 Basic
My client requires an experienced Senior Estimator / Area Estimator. The successful Senior Estimator / Area Estimator will be based from their Croydon, Surrey office.
Location:
Croydon, Surrey
Salary: £70,000 per annum

My client is on of the UK's largest Mechanical & Electrical contractor. They have a turnover of £950 millions a year. They have 27 regional offices and over 38,000 people in the UK. Their staff are all motivated to succeed due to their unique share ownership culture.
The Role:
The Senior Estimator / Area Estimator you will be required to possess the key skills and competencies to produce the financial statement which will be submitted in multi-million bids for the Southern bid team. The estimator will be working on a variation of projects, social housing, internal and external refurbishment for the private and public sector and commercial office fit outs.
Requirements:
Ideally 10-15 years UK based Commercial Estimating experience
Housing/Social housing experience ideal
PQS or Consultancy experience desirable but not essentail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Experience of managing people
An in-depth knowledge of different construction processes.
A forward-thinking approach to the management of clients and projects.
A desire to develop a career within a leading Practice.
