Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor- £11.3 million Rail Station Projects
My client require a Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based from a project office in surrey. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor will work alot side a team of other Quantity Surveyors.

The Client and the Job:
My client is an established Building and Civil Engineering Contractor with a turnover in excess of £220m. They take pride in their reputation for achieving the highest standards in performance, quality, safety and staff development.
The successful senior Quantity Surveyor will be seconded out to work on 2 rail projects worth £4.3m and £7 million. These projects are on the property side of rail works so include station modernisation working on the civils side
Your duties will include:
" Recovering costs from completed jobs through the running of reports. Correctly costing works, querying invoices, maintaining a sub-contractor account summary and preparing both quarterly and yearly financial account statements.
" Auditing direct labour timesheets and material purchases
" Preparing the monthly applications and CVC's
" Monitoring of the clients budgets
" Training of an Assistant or Trainee QS
" Promotion of safe working practices, promote and develop best practice and partnering
Requirements:
" Professional Memberships are advantageous (RICS or CIOB)
" BSc in Quantity Surveying or a construction related subject
" 5 - 10+ years UK Quantity Surveying experience
" Contractor background
" Civils and rail project experience advantageous
