Manage a credit control team to ensure the timely collection of agent monies, with specific
emphasis on procedures relating to cash collection and clearance of old items. Effective
deliverance of the Group Finance business plan and in meeting business growth targets, whilst monitoring
teams performance and progress against plan. Minimising credit risk by identifying problem
intermediaries and taking appropriate action. To ensure prompt, accurate resolution intermediary
queries.
Responsible for managing a credit control team including discipline, timekeeping, attendance and conduct of staff.
Undertake regular performance reviews with team members against targets and objectives.
Identification of both business and personal development training needs and implement plan for continuous staff development.
Manage, motivate, set, monitor and deliver objectives to direct reports in order for them to carry out their responsibilities and in meeting agreed service and performance targets.
Measure direct reports performance against Objectives, KPI's and SLA's - responsibility over a ledger of personal lines accounts.
Working as part of a team & supporting the Credit Control Account Ledgers for business, by utilising I90, Chorus & Harlosh.
