Our client is a highly successful multisite B2C with some 60 operations nationwide. To facilitate their ambitious plans to double in size over the next 5 years they have approached us to assist them in sourcing a self-starting, results driven Procurement Manager. This newly created role will have an enormous impact on the business, being responsible for researching and resourcing suppliers and business partners. Clearly you will be expected to negotiate contracts and cost reductions and manage supplier relations. This will include holding regular meetings, service level reviews, integration of supplier systems, producing management info and score cards, and encouraging supplier innovation. You will also be expected to work closely with other members of the senior management team to identify other business enhancing opportunities. This is a high profile role that demands a highly motivated and ambitious individual who has the drive and flair to make the role their own and play a real part in the company's ongoing success.
