Job Description
We are one of the UK’s leading quality fitted furniture manufacturers and retailers specializing in bedrooms, offices and kitchens with showrooms across the UK. We are a family run business established in 1926 and are still growing with exciting plans for the future.
We are looking for motivated, proactive, passionate Sales Designers to visit our potential customers in their homes, promoting, identifying and recommending our products to help them achieve their perfect home. You will demonstrate what we can do in creating inspirational, innovative, quality designs around the Reading area.
You will be attending arranged appointments booked by our concessions teams based in leading department stores so this role can be full time or fit in around a full time role, You decide.
We are looking for people with the confidence, energy, passion and professionalism to represent our brand and work in partnership with us whilst working for yourself and running your own business.
There is no financial outlay or start up costs and no design qualification is required. You simply need your own transport and mobile phone and we will help you do the rest. You will receive Hammond’s full Start Up Training programme which includes: Design Sales Training and you will be backed up and supported by your own Regional Manager.
We have an unrivalled network of stores and concessions, which along with our website and national advertising campaigns generates high quality customers and leads for you to follow up allowing you to earn great money and benefits with the freedom of working for yourself.
You could currently be working as a Kitchen Designer, Bathroom Designer, Bedroom Designer, Furniture Designer, Retail Manager, Store Manager, Sales Manager, Interior Designer, Field Sales, Account Manager or have any customer service, sales based experience with transferable skills.
On average our Sales Designers earn £30,000 but some earn a lot more..
