Job Description

This is a great Nursery manager’s role for an experienced nursery manager who is wishing to join a fantastic organisation. The company will offer excellent Career paths and a professional and forward thinking environment.

This role is to manage a large nursery and for you to contribute to all aspects if the nursery operations.

You will be someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding services to all your service users. Your excellent customer services approach will allow ensure that all your children and families gain the very best possible care and education in a warm and inspirational environment.

You will have excellent people management skills with a real ability to drive forward change and ensure that a strong team ethic is developed under your management. You will be someone who offers a supportive working environment, giving your people the opportunity to develop their own learning and encourage them to work to the next step of their career, supporting development throughout the nursery.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include:

• €¢To Achieve and maintain high standards of care

• €¢To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention

• €¢To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable

• €¢To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times

• €¢To Implement an effective parent liaison program

• €¢Experience of managing grant applications, and child tax credit is preferred. You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• €¢ NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent

• €¢3 years\' post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience

• €¢Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

• €¢Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines

• €¢Knowledge of health and safety legislation

• €¢Knowledge of OFSTED standards

• €¢Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
