Full Description:

This post forms part of the East Locality Team which includes representatives from social care, education, Connexions and health. The service is bases in new offices on the outskirts of Reading 5 minutes from Junction 12 of the M4. We have adopted mobile and flexible working.

This is a stable and enthusiastic team who work through a multi agency approach and are keen to develop services for Care Leavers. We are committed to continuous development to meet the changing needs of young people, adopt a solution focused approach and want to develop the Employability scheme to help promote better outcomes for care leavers.

The successful applicant, with the Team Manager, will be responsible for the delivery of services and the performance management of the Leaving Care Team. We have a good reputation for professional development and provide management training.
